With a population of over 2.8 million - ranking it the third largest city in America - and its position as a major economic hub, Chicago was the logical location for what has become a continued nation-wide expansion for the George Fern Company.
 The new sales office in Chicago, Illinois is led by Laura Boehmke, a 20-year veteran of the exposition and tradeshow industry. Laura joins the company’s staff as an account executive and will manage sales in the Chicago office.
Boehmke comes to the George Fern Company with experience that includes independent show management, association management and corporate events. Her multi-faceted background and exposure to events ranging from start-ups to “Trade Show 200” events give her the unique ability to relate to the individual needs of exhibitors as well as visualize the big-picture objectives of the client.
