About Us Company Profile stablished in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1909, the George Fern Company initially began as a window-trimming business and expanded their services to include decorating for local fairs and special events in the 1930s. In 1962, Eddie Fern, a descendent of founder George Edward Fern, sold the George Fern Company to Otto Budig Sr., whose sons, Otto Budig Jr. and George Budig assumed the responsibility of running the business.
The years that followed marked the beginning of the George Fern Company's expansion into other markets from Cincinnati, Ohio, to Columbus, Ohio, and then Indianapolis, Indiana, followed by Louisville, Kentucky in the 1970s, and Nashville, Tennessee, and Charlotte, North Carolina in the 1990s and recently to the establishment of offices in Alexandria, Virginia; Birmingham, Alabama; Atlanta, Georgia; Dallas, Texas; Houston, Texas; Kansas City, Missouri; Cleveland, Ohio; St. Louis, Missouri, Chicago, Illinois and San Antonio, Texas. |
