 The Kansas City Convention and Entertainment Facilities (KCCEF) has named Rick Tyner, general manager of the George Fern Company Kansas City office, Supplier of the Year for 2008 on behalf of the George Fern Company.
Oscar McGaskey, KCCEF executive director, said the Supplier of the Year is chosen based on three criteria:
- 1. outstanding customer service throughout the year
- 2. sponsorship of customer-related functions at the convention center and
- 3. no customer complaints within the year the award is given.
According to McGaskey, Tyner and the George Fern Company exceeded all expectations in these three areas.
“We have a very good partnership with the George Fern Company, which has contributed to the convention center’s outstanding reputation in providing a high level of customer service,” McGaskey said.
He added that Tyner and the George Fern Company consistently met all three points of the criteria throughout the year.
